CARING FOR YOUR TREASURE

A little note about caring for your products, for long-lasting relationships with them.

BLOCK PRINTS are hand printed and hand dyed, although they are colourfast you may see a little dye when washing for the first time. We recommend preserving the prints by hand washing in COLD WATER only. HANDWASHING is traditional, environmentally friendly and a soulful way of caring for your clothes (why not sing a song whilst you're doing it) and you can iron out any creases afterwards. DO NOT LEAVE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT ( this can bleach the fabric).

SARI JACKETS and KIMONOS are made from recycled saris, they are traditionally hand-washed too. Both items dry very quickly, using a cool iron, working up the heat were needed (beware of heat and synthetic fabrics in sari fabrics). BOMBERS are best dry cleaned or hand-washed too.

Little hacks...BRASS polishes beautifully with bicarb or toothpaste and if you have sensitive ears try clear nail varnish to coat the fastening. Keep silver plated metals out of damp rooms, away from liquids such as made up or wet hair, you can gently polish/ dry the item with a cloth.
